Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StarLogger Community mobile application (the "App"), provided by Parallax Astronomy ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law;
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems.

3. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, and content (excluding data you create), is owned by Parallax Astronomy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

4. Third-Party Services

The App displays advertising served through Google AdMob. Your interaction with third-party ads is subject to that provider's own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parallax Astronomy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

7. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
